We are a 6-piece band that covers the musical spectrum playing anything from Prince, Lady Antebellum, Guns N Roses, Journey, Motown, to name a few. We can adjust our setlist for any event to include:
We're a self-contained group with all of our own equipment. All we need from our clients is a date, a time, a check and two power outlets. We'll take it from there.
Chris was born and raised in New York City and is the band's manager, lead vocalist, saxophonist and keys player. He's performed in various venues on four continents, to include two tours with the Air Force's "Tops in Blue" entertainment group. Chris also plays sax and percussion in our 2-piece offering "Scotch on the Rocks." He separated from the Active-duty Air Force in Nov 2018 and is now a proud member of the Georgia Air National Guard! #goguard
Laura Nixon, a Warner Robins, GA native, is our female vocalist, keys player and flutist. Laura graduated with a degree in music from Georgia College and State University and has performed extensively throughout the country. Her resume includes residencies at Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri and on Holland America Cruise line. She has also been in several local bands and lists Peggy Lee, Leann Rimes, Patsy Cline and Ella Fitzgerald as some of her influences.
Bert Mims hails from Columbia, South Carolina and is our band’s bass player. After high school, Bert moved to Georgia and went to the Atlanta Institute of Music, where he graduated in 2008.
Drew Smith, from Warner Robins, is our male vocalist and also the vocalist and piano player for our 2-piece band, "Scotch on the Rocks." He draws influence from many great musicians past and present; he continues to captivate audiences with his earnest vocal delivery and powerful stage presence. Drew Smith has done countless shows, weddings, and talent showcases, all over the United States. He has also been featured on shows with national R&B recording artists such as George Tandy Jr., Avery Sunshine, and Grammy Nominated singer/songwriter Anthony David.
Jacob is a Georgia native, born and raised in the rural community of Cochran. Being exposed to a local music store at such young age offered frequent experience and interaction with skilled musicians and teachers. Jacob completed his studying at the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, which serves as a breeding ground for some of the music industry’s most successful professional musicians and teachers. He has spent his life dedicated to serving and teaching musicians in the local church, as well as playing professionally with various artists through the years.
